Florence, SC (PRESS RELEASE) -Registration for the 2015-16 school year for students in Florence School District One will take place August 3-7 for high school students and August
5-6 for elementary and middle school students.
Registration for elementary and middle school students will be held Wednesday and Thursday, August 5th and August 6th. All elementary and middle schools will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. for registration.
Registration for South Florence High and for West Florence High school students will be held Monday through Thursday, with registration for seniors on Monday, August 3rd; for juniors on Tuesday, August 4th; for sophomores on Wednesday, August 5th; and for freshmen on Thursday, August 6th. Hours of registration are 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. for South Florence High and West Florence High.
Wilson High registration dates and times are as follows: Monday, August 3rd seniors, 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.; Tuesday, August 4th, juniors and sophomores, 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.; Wednesday, August 5th, freshmen, 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Schools may extend the registration time to be available for parents who cannot register their children during designated school hours. Parents should register students at the school for which they are zoned. Contact the attendance office for school zone information at 673-1164. The first day of school for students in Florence One is Monday, August 17th.
