By state law, Vision Screening is required for students entering Kindergarten. Experts estimate that 80% of learning is through our vision so this vision exam could help prevent future learning problems. Many times a child does not complain of a vision problem because they have always seen things a certain way and don’t know there is a problem.
Genesis, through Community Health, coordinates the Care for Yourself (CFY) breast and cervical cancer early detection program in Clinton, Jackson, and Scott Counties. Orchestra recruiting time is here! Students have gotten to test out the string instruments at school. There are two times that you can join orchestra. This summer (July 6-9 at Williams Intermediate), there will be a week long summer school beginner’s course. If you can’t make this work in your schedule, students may also begin in the fall.
