Yuma Educational Consortium Partners
The Yuma Educational Consortium Partners (YEC) is a collaborative effort between Yuma School District One, Yuma High School District, Northern Arizona University–Yuma, and Arizona Western College, where these entities have entered into intergovernmental agreements (IGAs) to share services.
Financial Facts
With a budget exceeding $60 million dollars, the District represents a major industry in terms of its economic impact within the Yuma community. The Governing Board annually approves all expenditures.
The current budget provides for expenditures in the following areas:
A - Maintenance and Operation 57%
B - Federal Projects 14%
C - Intergovernmental Agreements 11%
D - Food Service 6%
E - Debt Service 4%
F - Classroom Site Funds 3%
G - Other Funds 2%
H - Unrestricted Capital 2%
