The User Education Hall is located on the G/F of the Hong Kong Central Library. Through the provision of different user education services like guided tours for the public, and user education talks like “Introductory Session on the Multimedia Information System”, “Introduction to Electronic Reference Databases”and “General Introduction to On-line Public Access Catalogue”, users get familiarised with the Hong Kong Public Libraries and the tools for searching information effectively. Besides, to acquaint users with the facilities and services provided in the Hong Kong Central Library, and to help them enhance their self-learning skills and fully utilise the resources available here for life-long learning, we offer free library guided tours for schools and organisations.
