Two high football players from San Antonio's John Jay High School have been suspended from school and could face criminal charges after an incident in Friday's game against Marble Falls.
The two players appeared to target and hit referee Robert Watts during a play in the fourth quarter. One of the players was ejected from the game on the spot, while the other stayed in the game because the referees initially misidentified who hit Watts, according to Ben Baby of the Express News.
