Rapper Nicki Minaj has taken aim at the principal of her former high school for allegedly snubbing her planned return.
The “Anaconda” hit maker approached officials at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School in New York and offered to make an appearance as part of a treat for students, but she was turned down.
In a message on Twitter, she writes, “I wanted to go back to my HS and speak to the students but the new principal declined. No need for me to inspire them, I guess. Smh (shake my head)”.
She adds, “That school changed my life and I wanted to pay it forward to the students there now. I was really looking forward to it.”
It is not clear why principal Dr. Lisa Mars blocked Minaj’s plans to return to the school, but the rap star has often come under fire for her provocative performances and her hardcore lyrics.
