
Fort Leavenworth Program
Welcome to the Fort Leavenworth Adult Education program page! The Adult Education Master’s degree program at Fort Leavenworth, KS is a unique and challenging program with an international reputation for excellence. Knowledge gained by graduates of the program is in high demand by both military and civilian employers. The program’s unique design provides working adult students invaluable interaction with professors and professionals in the field of adult and continuing education with a schedule that works in conjunction with the Command and General Staff College's (CGSC) year of Intermediate Level Education (ILE). The Adult Education program at Fort Leavenworth also welcomes any military family members or government civilians within the Fort Leavenworth area to the program.
Residency Students:
K-State offers a face-to-face program specifically designed and limited to those persons affiliated with Ft. Leavenworth. Cohorts begin in February and August for entering ILE students. Students may transfer credit from the ILE courses provided they were completed with a grade of “B” or better. Pass/fail credits will not transfer.
Distance Students:
Military who complete the Intermediate Level Education (ILE) through distance education may also complete the Masters of Adult Education through the online delivery. Students may transfer credit from the ILE courses provided they were completed with a grade of “B” or better. Pass/fail credits will not transfer.
