NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The 2015 Ivy League Men’s Basketball Playoff between co-champions Yale and Harvard will take place at The Palestra in Philadelphia on Saturday, March 14 at 4 p.m. The game will be shown live by the American Sports Network and ESPN3.
Yale (22-9, 11-3 Ivy) and Harvard (21-7, 11-3 Ivy) are set to meet for a third time this season in a one-game playoff to determine the League’s automatic bid recipient for the 2015 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $5 for students and children 12 years old and under and go on sell at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10. Tickets can be purchased through Yale ticket office at 203-432-1400 or Penn ticket office at 215-898-6151.
The Ivy League conducts a playoff in men’s basketball to determine the Ivy League’s NCAA Tournament automatic bid when two or more teams tie for the regular-season title. The 2015 men’s basketball playoff will be the ninth in conference history.
Yale is making its third appearance in the playoff (1963, 2002 and 2015) and Harvard is making its second (2011 and 2015).
