CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - For the first time in program history, Harvard will host ESPN's College GameDay Built by The Home Depot, televised live from the Dillon Quad Saturday, Nov. 22 before taking on Yale in the 131st playing of The Game.
College GameDay Built by The Home Depot, in season, is in its 28th season, airs Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon EST. The weekly three-hour Emmy Award-winning show is hosted by Chris Fowler, along with analysts Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and David Pollack, and reporting by Samantha Ponder, Tom Rinaldi, Scott Van Pelt, George Whitfield and Gene Wojciechowski.
The Crimson stands at 9-0, 6-0 Ivy League and has already clinched a share of its 16th Ivy League crown. Yale stands at 8-1, 5-1 Ivy and would gain a share of the Ancient Eight title with a win on Saturday.
Tapings for various ESPN shows will begin on Friday morning from the GameDay set and will continue periodically throughout the day until the conclusion of College Football Live, which begins at 2:30 p.m.
This will mark the second time the production has featured Harvard, as GameDay's first visit to a Football Championship Subdivision school came at Penn on Nov. 16, 2002.
All fans are invited to attend the tapings on both Friday and Saturday.
ESPN College GameDay will have final approval on all signs and apparel that are permitted in and around the set.
The following are prohibited in the pit area directly behind the College GameDay stage: alcohol, food, drinks, footballs, hard helmets, signs on sticks or polls; no signs with profanity, religious or political connotations; no bags or backpacks. All signs must be hand-held.
