Testimonials:

"We received approximately 75% of our applications from individuals who saw postings on the ECN site. It appears prospective employees are searching for employment via the Internet more than through print. To answer one of your questions, yes, we did fill positions from our pool of ECN applicants."

The Educational Canada Network has provided excellent services to First Nations Education Authorities. Having served as the Director of Education in three such authorities, I have found that the service has provided direct links to quality educators and education support staff across Canada. Previous advertisements in local papers proved expensive, reached a much more limited cliental, and drew far fewer responses. Further, the ability to be able to peruse resumes to fill emergency positions in the middle of the year has proved invaluable. These services are an excellent resource to connect employers and employees and First Nations children have been the beneficiary.

I'm 21 now and we've been discussing on where to raise our kids in the next couple of years, and I'd really like to move back to Canada. I would like to know which...

Where are the teaching and education assistant jobs in Canada? | Yahoo Answers

No. One of the worst professions imaginable in Canada for unemployment. Teachers have a 24% unemployment rate. In Ontario, 2/3rds of recent graduates were unable to find teaching positions after five years. Universities in most provinces now have limits on the number of education students they accept each year and all warn students of the terrible prospects.
Canada has a low birth rate (1.63) and a declining school aged population. Lots of teachers are also working well past retirement age. Provinces have been closed schools and laying off teachers in the tens of thousands over the pa…
