What education and training is required to become director in a childcare center

All centres will have their own requirements for the job. Check with the one you want to work for, and see what they prefer.

  • Relevant qualifications to teach in a childcare centre are first needed.
  • Following this, a large amount of experience in the field will probably be preferable.
  • Further training in management and directorship might also be necessary.
